The VDL Jansen Premium+ laying nest is a high quality nest, manufactured of first-class shuttering plywood and plastic side walls. The nest is designed to fulfil the natural needs of the hens by creating comfortable surroundings.
PRODUCTION OF FIRST-CLASS EGGS
The open structure of the nest mats ensures clean eggs. Eggs roll onto the egg belt with a precise rolling speed and short rolling distance. This preserves the quality of the egg. Single-walled plastic partitions are lice and mite unfriendly.
LESS FLOOR EGGS
The nest provides hens a comfortable and hygienic environment in which to lay their eggs, even with high bird density and high temperatures. Floor eggs are kept to a minimum.
